The R&A’s Official Rules App for the iPhone and iPad offers you the complete package, covering every issue that can arise in a round of golf. From on-course behaviour, through a summary of the fundamental Rules, to the complete Rules of Golf (effective January 2016), you’ll soon find the answer you’re looking for.
The Quick Guide to the Rules will make sure that you know what to do if you find yourself in any of the most frequently-occurring Rules scenarios. Designed for quick and easy reference, the Guide is fully illustrated and contains numerous images, diagrams and video footage.
You’ll also find a guide to the essential Etiquette of the game, in which two-time Open Champion Padraig Harrington explains the rights and wrongs relating to pace of play, care of the course, and consideration for other golf course users.
Should you need more detail, the complete Rules of Golf (effective January 2016), will cover every eventuality, and once you’ve become an expert, you can test yourself with an interactive Rules quiz.

All the rules are there and the quiz (10 random rule) mode helps you learn all those extra sometimes obscure ones.
I utilized the quizzes to study for my golf exams in my Professional Golf Management program. Works great, very informative. Its like having the Rules, and Decisions to the Rules in the palm of your hand. Five stars, well done!
A great app with both a summary and full set of rules. A must have for any golfer, especially those just starting out.
Its a beautiful And usefull App, Sorry that videos doesnt work except for the introductional one! Please check on iOS 7!
Some bad moments
Previous versions were great. Last 2 updates are not. All the multiple choice questions have the same possible answer for the question, you have multiple choices, all are the same. Broken
Bloated, clunk of an app. Like trying to flip through an old encyclopedia to find anything.
The app has one primary function...and it fails!
The definitions will show themselves, sometimes.
